My Story
My wellness journey began long before my recent 42nd birthday. It started at 15, when I looked around at my family’s health and realized I didn’t want the future I was seeing. I didn’t want to follow in the footsteps of my parents, older relatives, and family friends, who were all accepting of chronic health issues like heart disease, cancer, and high cholesterol.

I remember my mother telling me that high cholesterol was genetic and could only be controlled through medication. I refused to accept that and set out to prove her wrong. As a teenager, I dove into understanding nutrition and its role in health—not just for the sake of managing my own cholesterol, but to understand how food could prevent disease altogether.

Nearly 30 years later, I’ve come to realize the profound impact food can have—not just on cholesterol, but on preventing chronic diseases like heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. I’ve watched trends come and go over the years, but one thing has remained constant: the core, science-backed principles of preventative nutrition.
This is not a trend for me. It’s a way of life. It’s about empowering individuals to take control of their health by making mindful, informed choices about what they eat—choices that don’t just treat symptoms, but actively prevent disease.

Along the way, I’ve been through my own journey of discovery. From facing my own health challenges, to studying nutrition rigorously, to applying that knowledge in my personal life and in my career, I’ve learned that the road to long-term health isn’t about quick fixes or fad diets. It’s about sustainable, science-backed nutrition that nurtures the body and supports its ability to thrive in the long run.

As I turned 42 in April of 2025, my mission became clearer: I wanted to share the knowledge I’ve gained over the years and help others build a foundation of health that will carry them into the future—a future where they are not burdened by preventable chronic illness.

I don’t believe in generic, one-size-fits-all solutions. I’ve lived this experience myself, and it’s this deep, personal connection to preventative nutrition that allows me to guide others toward the most sustainable, effective strategies for disease prevention.

If you’re ready to take control of your health and create a future that’s free from preventable illness, let’s work together to build a plan that fits your unique needs.
